This is ONLY for new customers i think. There is no discount for existing customers. Bluehost does not care about Existing customers they only care for new customers. So existing customers are leaving bluehost.
I don’t think Bluehost will provide renewal for existing customers on these new discounted prices.
What do you think ?

this bluehost discount price $3.95 is available for bluehost hosting new customers only. Existing account renewal is not entitle for this discount price. This rules are the same for most of web hosting we are reviewing currently, where renewal are subject to non-discount price.
At anytime, you can choose to signup a new bluehost account and entitle for the $3.95 as well. As long you are not renewing the account via bluehost cpanel > billing… which is regular price.

@Bluehost Review, Yes this is what i am saying if we sign up with any other email for new account then what about our domains which already have pointing to old account ?
Doing this (new account) aren’t we cheating with our webhost ?
Okay, take it for all the webhosting companies NOT for bluehost only.
I think webhosting companies should offer discount to their existing customers as well so they stick to one hosting company rather than using one hosting company for 2-3 years then other for another 2-3 years and so on…

when signup new account, you get free domain registration for life, use it, and this will be your primary domain for the account. And your “existing” domain can become addon domain for the account etc.
sadly, 99% of web hosting companies are not offering discount for existing customers that renew their hosting account. Its not good marketing to keep existing customers.
this is our suggestion, and not to forget, the new customer get $3.95/mo price, and that is $72 dollars discount for 3 years hosting plan.
Alternatively, you can signup hostmonster or fastdomain (bluehost partner) instead, get the same $3.95/mo offer price from our review site.

recommendations about services not prices as price for both of the websites are almost the same.

Compare bluehost & fatcow:
1) both of them own and operate a huge network of web hosting services. Each consist of multiple brand. Hence they are both very experienced.
2) Bluehost are more consistent, and offering good hosting services since long time ago. Fatcow are only famous recent year, and they are good too. However, the good record is not as long as bluehost.
3) bluehost is cpanel, fatcow is vdeck 3.
