If you are facing problem like your website hosted at Bluehost is running slow, or have downtime. Definately you will need to read about my experience with it, and how i get it SOLVED FOREVER.
At mid of April 2007, this bluehost review website, hosted at bluehost.com is suddently running slow. And i notice it when i visit this site. Immediately i go to bluehost.com, and initiate the live chat with bluehost support team.
Informing them of the slowiness and downtime of my website. Within less than 5 minutes problem was identify. And after another 5 minutes, it was solved. Problem is caused by firewall at bluehost datacentre. I not sure what cause it, but some tweak to the firewall by the admin done the job. Now, my bluehost hosted website is running at full speed and i very HAPPY with the hosting and also support team.

Suddenly my Drupal based website is running very slow since last 2-3 days. I re-install Drupal with a fewer modules and repair database table. There was no improvement in speed. I contacted to bluehost.com for support. They check my site and tell me a link for “Essential steps to speed up a Drupal web site.” I’ve followed all possible instruction for speed up my Drupal website. But my site is still running very slow. I am planning to contact bluehost again for support. I hope this time bluehost.com can help me to solve this problem.

BlueHost throttles you when you reach certain thresholds, so that other users can share server resources. I found this as a single user without any visitors, just by editing pages. Look in your /tmp directory for the logs showing your cpu usage and throttling events, or go to the control panel > Logs > CPU Throttling.
Regrettably, there is no way to create any kind of capacity plan with BlueHost.
