You can use microsoft frontpage software to create html and webpages. Frontpage is popular among webmaster, and is usually an option to adobe dreamweaver for html editing purposes. Once you are done editing your new webpage with frontpage, you can publish frontpage webpages online at your bluehost hosting account. To do this, you can either use the frontpage publish method or using ftp client to upload the files to server. To start with the frontpage file upload, you have to setup the connection to server. Then select Local to Remote, and start the frontpage file synchronize/synchronization by clicking the Publish button at your frontpage software. Wait until all files are uploaded to server, and test your frontpage website online through web browser.

*Note that frontpage file upload feature will not work on bluehost hosting that is running apache server. This frontpage upload feature only works for IIS server from windows hosting plan.

  Pops up a new internet explorer window that will allow you to easily upload or download files between this computer and your web site. You may also rename, delete, or edit files on the server so use with caution! To upload, drag the file or folder into this window.

When you publishing your website online, always remember to ftp upload your file to folder “public_html/”. Not to other folder.

To lazy person like me that don’t like to remembering ftp login username and password, i will always use ftp client manager like cuteftp … and it support multithreaded ftp uploading.
