www.bluehostreview.org is the biggest bluehost review site, revealing the fact about bluehost hosting and their hosting quality. With real bluehost uptime monitoring performed on this bluehost hosted website.
For the pass 20 months, bluehost hosting had performed well, except for previous month. At september 2008, bluehost upgrading their hosting servers and this had caused some unexpected problems and many service downtime detected for few days during the whole month. Finally, the september service uptime recorded at below 97% only.
Bluehost support team had completed the server upgrade on this server (for this website), and hopefully, their service uptime will recover and gets better than before. The server performance should improved as well, as the result of the server upgrade.

Is bluehost hosting having issue/problem lately? Why is their server downtime increased dramatically, and the bluehost technical support team is so hard to be reach? What is the caused for this bluehost problems?
I having difficulties to get connected to bluehost live chat, and the fact is that their waiting queue is taken too long. Even after you are connected to available live chat support, they are too busy and expect to be serve slowly as well. What’s wrong with bluehost lately??
I was told that the server that i am using is having hard disk RAID crash… they not sure what caused this server problem but they are investigating on it. They get the hardware replace, and website restored, thanks that bluehost performed server backup earlier. Following few days, my website is still having some downtime problem occasionally, and the cause is still unknown.
I understood & told by bluehost support that they are upgrading their servers.. its a major server hardware upgrading and lots of servers are involved. Is this mean most of bluehost technical team are too busy with the server upgrading work, and no time to perform their routine to maintain the server in good condition??
Fact is that, during the server upgrading process, the downtime should be keep to the minimum. And thus not causing lots more other problem to customer. If customers having problem they will go bugs the support team, and causing the support team to be even more tight up with their work.

Recently I had seen more bluehost users posted in bluehost forum, stating that their bluehost hosted website had been hacked. Various Bluehost web site hacking had been reported, which including .htaccess redirection to hacker site, modification of php.ini files, insertion of HTML content into index.html, iframe embeding into index.html webpage, etc.
This is a major concern for me as well, if there is any vulnerability in bluehost server, I would like the bluehost support team to get it patched. If we think from bluehost side, bluehost support team is excellent in maintaining a good hosting server. There is no doubt for cPanel security and safety as well. At this point, I assume bluehost support had performed the necessary server maintenance and taken the security measures.
Over 90% of website hacked is caused by weak user account login and password. The remaining reason this caused by the party website script that is vulnerable and having security hole. For an example, a hacker can exploit your textbox or web-form and injected SQL into your database, or they can inject HTML code into your web files. Another entrance for hackers is through FTP login, once they gain access, they will be able to change your web files in any means.
Thus, is important to secure your own hosting account and as well your ftp login. Make sure your password is 8 Character long and having combination of alphanumeric, Numbers, and symbol. safeguard your own login information. Finally, make sure your website script is updated with the latest version of script released. These are the best way to protect your website from being attacked again.
